Environmental Management Policy

Namalco Construction Services Ltd. is committed to conducting its operations in a manner that eliminates the risk of negative impact to the environment. It is the Namalco Construction Services Ltd.'s Policy to:

  1. To comply with all existing applicable laws, regulations, rules and also to any requirement to which the organization subscribes
     
  2. As far as is reasonably practicable, to continually improve its operation in order to prevent pollution by the use of processes, practices, materials or products that avoid, reduce or control pollution.
     
  3. To provide the necessary training and information so that employees are aware of the applicable laws, regulations, rules and standards relevant to their specific duties and responsibilities.
     
  4. To ensure that all members of the organization understand the Company's policy and endorse the policy by incorporating its terms into their daily activities.
     
  5. To ensure that employees of the organization accept responsibility for processes, monitoring operations and reporting infrastructure to the supervisor.
     
  6. To audit operations on a regular basis and make necessary improvements to its policies, procedures and preventative measures so that negative impact to the environment is reduced or eliminated.
     
  7. To demonstrate good environmental practices through reducing, reusing, recycling, or recovering waste materials in the organization's operations.


In furtherance of this policy the management of Namalco Construction Services Ltd. will:

  1. Manage its business with the goal of preventing incidents and design, operate and maintain facilities to this end.
     
  2. Respond quickly, effectively and with care to emergencies or accidents resulting from its operation; co-operating with industry organization and authorized government agencies.
     
  3. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations and apply responsible standards of its own, in accordance with best practice, where regulations do not exist.
     
  4. Undertake appropriate reviews and evaluations of its operations to measure progress and to ensure compliance with this environmental policy
